This story follows Liz, a 15 year old girl who gets hit by a taxi and ends up in Elsewhere, an afterlife in which everyone ages backwards. She is rather annoyed at first that she cannot experience the life that was waiting upon her and doesn’t really get along with the society and the people in her new reality but after a while she starts meeting different people and gets to grips with her new surroundings.
It is a rather upbeat view of the afterlife which definitely fits with the protagonists age. I mean clearly there are books out there with more insightful thoughts about death and there are certainly questions that could be asked about this universe that aren’t but it is a rather light read especially considering the topic.
